Pop culture, legislative change, public safety, and building a nation where both families and businesses can thrive: On this show we explore the connections flowing between us that move our nation.  From the first ever "group sourced" investigation via Twitter in the Boston marathon bombing tragedy, to what happens when you try to change a diaper at 30,000 feet in a culture where the needs of parents are ignored, to prom music lyrics, gun safety policies, and childcare. This show is about real change in real life.

Stop the madness! It's not the 1960s anymore but women still earn, on average, 23% less than men for the same work. Mothers and women of color earn less. It's time for this madness to end! This year Equal Pay Day – the day that marks how far into 2013 women have to work to earn what men earned for the same work in 2012 -- is April 9th, 2013.  And, on this show we talk about what it's going to take for women to finally get equal pay for equal work.
