Summer! People Leading The Way To Change.

First up: We get the lowdown on an Executive Order that the President is expected to sign soon barring federal contractors from discriminating against LGBTQ folks. The next segment covers kids, schools, and summer!  Yes, It's summer! Many schools are out, but parents are working year round.  And let's face it: In order to work, parents need safe, enriching places for their kids to be during the day.  So on this show we're going to talk about what it means that childcare now costs more than college--and what you can do to help children, families, and businesses thrive while also saving tax payer dollars. Next up we hear about the upcoming White House Summit on Working Families.  Last but far from least we hear the latest on what you can do to help move Congress forward on getting access to affordable, high quality, early learning and childcare opportunities for all--along with some tips for choosing the best childcare programs for your kids and grandkids.
